- Ray DeLaurentis' favorite character in the show is B.L. Tomato, due to not being accepted by both fruits and vegetables.[1]
- Ray mistakenly calls B.L. Tomato "Tommy Tomato" when referring to him, possibly misremembering him for a character with the same name featured in a season 10 episode of The Fairly OddParents titled The Kale Patch Caper.
- Ray created the pitch bible for Coconut Fred's Fruit Salad Island! in a Starbucks with a three day deadline.[2]
